Abstract
Thanks to technological advances, art evolves, opening up new horizons for artists, providing them with unprecedented opportunities for self-expression, unusual experiments and interaction with the audience. On the other hand, the relationship between art and technology is a reliable way to preserve historical heritage and ensure that cultural and artistic values will always remain relevant – in all eras and for all generations. The purpose of the article is to determine how information and communication technological innovations change the approach to creativity, opening up new horizons in art, actually becoming a muse for artists, especially in the digital 21st century. The research methodology is based on a combination of methods and approaches integrated from art history, history, information technology. General scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization were used. It is concluded that digital art is not just a technological trend, but a new dimension of creativity that opens up limitless possibilities for artists, blurring the boundaries between artistic media and traditional ideas about what art is. Thus, it allows us to rethink traditional approaches to creativity, creating space for innovation, experimentation and global cooperation. The emergence and evolution of digital art is determined by information and communication technological achievements, especially at that stage of humanity’s existence when they have become fundamental elements of culture and society. In general, digital art rethinks the relationship between creativity and technology, deeply influencing how we perceive, share and create art in modern society. As a result, art not only does not lose anything from interacting with the latest information technologies, but also gains. Above all, it remains constantly actively included in the cultural and civilizational process as an integral part of its structure, which, in turn, enables the production, circulation and consumption of works of art in certain socio-cultural spaces or specific historical contexts.
