Abstract

The article explores the little-known phenomenon of the Mezhyhirya puppet theater of the 1920s, established at the Mezhyhirya Art and Ceramics Technical School. Particular attention is paid to the participation of Boichukist artists in the design of puppets and stage sets. The paper identifies the key characters, analyzes the artistic features of the puppets, and examines archival and museum sources related to this avant-garde theater movement.
