Abstract

The article explores the concept of artistic direction (art-directing) of school celebrations as a contemporary pedagogical technology that integrates aesthetic, therapeutic, and educational components. The author examines the school festivity as an emotionally significant event that fosters children's emotional well-being, social skills, creative potential, and cultural engagement. The role of the art-director—as a teacher-director who creates a meaningful space for co-creation, expression, and belonging—is emphasized. The paper highlights the importance of scenario-based thinking, emotional rhythm, inclusivity, and post-event reflection as key elements of this innovative approach to school events. Special attention is paid to the function of the school celebration as a “social container” for emotional expression, especially under the conditions of wartime stress and uncertainty.
