Abstract

his article explores the role of musical and stage project-based activities in higher education institutions as a powerful pedagogical tool for the development of students' soft skills. The author emphasizes that modern artistic education must not only provide technical training but also cultivate emotional openness, communication, teamwork, leadership, and adaptability—skills highly valued by employers and necessary for personal growth. Through collaborative work on concert numbers, students engage in authentic artistic processes that simulate professional environments. These processes foster experiential learning, emotional intelligence, responsibility, and creative expression. Particular attention is given to the student–director partnership as a model of educational democracy, where horizontal collaboration replaces traditional hierarchical instruction. The article also highlights the therapeutic potential of rehearsals, the importance of creating a psychologically safe space, and the socializing effects of artistic collaboration. Ultimately, project-based musical and stage practices are presented as a vital component in forming a competitive, creative, and socially conscious professional for the 21st-century cultural landscape.
