Abstract

This study examines the design features of Toshikazu Kawaguchi’s "Before the Coffee Gets Cold". It analyzes the graphic and typographic solutions employed in the book design and their impact on the reader’s perception of the literary work. The research also investigates the relationship between visual design elements and the book’s narrative content, emphasizing their role in shaping a cohesive and harmonious visual image. Furthermore, the study addresses the integration of traditional design approaches and methods within contemporary design practices.
