Abstract

The article scientifically substantiates the importance of music in the professional development of future choreographers and identifies the interaction and interdependence of music and choreography in the educational process of the university. The article analyzes the artistic and scientific-pedagogical works of national scientists and artists on the formation of professional competencies of students-choreographers by means of music. The influence of music on the development of choreographic art and the professional activity of famous choreographers and ballet master is substantiated. The features of the professional development of students of choreographic specialties at the university and the importance of performing and pedagogical practices are revealed. Music is characterized as a means of developing students' sense of rhythm, interpretive abilities, plasticity and artistic expressiveness of movements, emotional sphere and individual performance style. The role of the concertmaster of the choreographic class in the formation of musical competence of students-choreographers is determined. The main factors that influence the perception and assimilation of musical material of a choreographic work by students are outlined (creative atmosphere in the specialty classes, highly artistic musical repertoire, student musicality, good orientation in musical styles and trends, creative synergy, creative imagination and fantasy, student's ability to self-education, self-organization and professional development). The educational value of music in the professional training of future choreographers is proved. It is stated that the integration of the musical component into choreographic education contributes to the development of creative thinking, improvisational skills and the formation of students' professional experience. It is concluded that music is an integral part of the professional training of future choreographers at the university and a pedagogical tool that creates an aesthetically rich educational environment, activates students' internal motivation and promotes their holistic professional and personal development
