Abstract

The article examines the multi-component process of forming the readiness of scientific and pedagogical workers in the field of design to use multimedia technologies in professional activities. Based on the analysis of modern theoretical approaches and practical solutions, key directions for improving the training of scientific and pedagogical workers in higher education institutions have been identified. Particular attention is paid to the integration of multimedia technologies into the educational process, the digitalization of the educational environment, the modernization of the material and technical base of educational institutions, the enhancement of the qualifications of scientific and pedagogical workers, and the implementation of an interdisciplinary approach. Modern multimedia technologies such as VR (virtual reality), AR (augmented reality), specialized software for graphic design, and digital platforms for managing educational processes are analyzed. It has been established that their implementation contributes to improving the effectiveness of learning, developing digital competencies of students, and adapting educational and professional programs to the requirements of the modern labor market. The importance of a systematic approach to the development of innovative educational programs that consider the needs of the digital environment is emphasized. The necessity of developing the digital competencies of scientific and pedagogical workers through the implementation of qualification improvement programs focused on mastering modern technologies and interactive teaching methods is substantiated. The issue of modernizing the material and technical base of higher education institutions, including providing access to modern equipment, licensed software, and cloud services, is also explored. It is determined that the financial aspects of implementing multimedia technologies are one of the key factors influencing the success of their integration into the educational process. Special attention is given to the interdisciplinary approach to preparing future design specialists. It is proposed to integrate multimedia technologies with other disciplines, such as programming, marketing, and communications, which will enable students to develop relevant professional competencies.
