Abstract
Riabokon A.A. Development of a concept document for an adventure pixelated 2D video game, mobile version. Qualification work. Kyiv: Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, 2025. 72 p. The qualification work is dedicated to the development of a concept document for the 2D pixel mobile game Carpathia. The study examines the significance of a concept document in game design, its structure, and functions. It includes an analysis of the evolution of pixel graphics, the genre characteristics of mobile games, and their technical optimization. Special attention was paid to creating a unique visual concept of the game that combines the aesthetics of pixel art and the atmosphere of the Carpathians and tourism. An artistic style has been developed to convey the natural landscapes and cultural identity of the Carpathian region. The study also defines the game's core mechanics, focused on exploration, survival, and interactive storytelling. The research explores the impact of the game environment on player engagement and analyzes technical solutions for mobile platforms. The final outcome of the work is a fully developed visual concept and a structured concept document containing a detailed description of the gameplay, artistic style, and technical features of Carpathia.
