Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of inclusive education, particularly, to the strategies for implementing pedagogical support for children with special educational needs in the actual educational process. It is emphasized that, depending on the specialty and scientific interests of researchers, scientific sources represent psychological, psychological-pedagogical, physical education and sports, medical and rehabilitation, educational and rehabilitation, social, socio-psychological support for students with special educational needs, which differ their content, structure, conditions and methods of implementation in certain contexts. It is found that the concept of «support» has entered pedagogical science and practice based on ideas about the uniqueness of each child (person), their ability to self-development and personal growth, the realization of their internal potential, and the understanding of a person as the creator of their own life. The authors of the article define pedagogical support as the optimization of teaching and adapting the content of education to students with special educational needs in the most convenient form for them with appropriate educational and didactic processing. It is proven that pedagogical support is based on scientifically recognized approaches (systemic, holistic, team-based, conductive, axiological, personal, individual, environmental) in the paradigm of which technologies, methods, and teaching aids are determined. The need to master strategies aimed at pedagogical support of students with SEN in the educational process for the successful implementation of inclusive educational practices is substantiated. Among such strategies, scaffolding is defined as the active involvement of a child with SEN in the educational process, their socialization and maximization of their capabilities through step-by-step support and structuring of educational tasks, and tutoring as a system of pedagogical support in the process of supporting the individual trajectory of learning and upbringing of a student with SEN.
