Abstract

This scientific article highlights the key factors in improving the performance skills of members of amateur dance groups through classical dance. It examines the influence of classical discipline on the overall activities of folk dance ensembles. Emphasis is placed on the introduction of professional competencies into the educational process of arts education. Classical dance, being the basis of many dance styles, is important for the formation of dancers' aesthetic taste and the development of artistic thinking, and gives an additional impetus to the disclosure of creative potential. The main parameters characterising the influence of classical vocabulary on the development of technical skills in dancers, musical perception and the stage expressiveness of choreographic forms are identified. Particular attention is paid to the introduction of classical exercises into the rehearsal process of folk dance groups, which is an important factor in strengthening and improving their performance level. The article reveals the peculiarities of the formation of the culture of performing movement and the improvement of virtuoso technique based on academic discipline. The main factors for the preservation and development of stage performance skills are identified, which is the main criterion for improving the quality of the dance ensemble in general and the performer in particular. The systematic nature of practical classes that influence the formation of the dancer's body and performance skills is emphasised. The article examines the methodological aspects of the educational process, which is the key to the high-quality training of future leaders of amateur choreographic ensembles. The introduction of classical dance lessons into the rehearsal process on a permanent basis will not only contribute to the improvement of dance skills, but also influence the formation of a harmonious and disciplined personality. It should be noted that the use of various pedagogical methods in combination with innovative ideas and the latest technologies will contribute to strengthening the methodological base and launch the process of integrating classical dance into amateur folk dance groups.
