Abstract
The theoretical and practical approaches to the problem of professionalization of a personality are analyzed; the professional identity as a basic concept is considered, it displays the essence of the professional development; the main indicators of the professional identity are defined: they are awareness, formedness and conception; the problems of professional growth of the future psychologist in his educational and professional activities are covered as well as in the branch of practical psychology; the content and dynamic of the personal meaning of psychologists notion of the future specialists are opened; the differences in the terms of professional identity of the future psychologists are analyzed and defined depending on the stage of professional training and the form of funding for training.
