Abstract
The master’s thesis addresses the problem of forming healthy lifestyle skills in second-grade pupils through effective interaction between school and family. The relevance of the study is determined by the deterioration of children’s health and the need to develop health-preserving competencies in accordance with the principles of the New Ukrainian School. The paper analyzes the concept of a healthy lifestyle, its main components, and the specific features of its formation in primary school pupils. The role of partnership between educational institutions and families in fostering children’s responsible attitudes toward their own health is substantiated. The experimental part of the research included diagnosing the levels of healthy lifestyle formation among second-grade pupils, implementing a set of pedagogical measures, and analyzing their effectiveness. The results demonstrated a positive dynamic in the development of cognitive, motivational-value, and behavioral components of a healthy lifestyle in the experimental group. The findings of the study can be applied in primary school practice, in the work of class teachers, and in improving parental pedagogical awareness.
