Abstract

The article addresses the problem of developing graphomotor skills in primary school children as one of the key tasks of modern primary education within the framework of the New Ukrainian School concept. It substantiates the relevance of using innovative technologies, in particular, neuropedagogical approaches, in the development of fine motor skills, movement coordination, and perceptual-cognitive functions that ensure readiness for writing. The author presents an original development — the neuro notebook “Let’s Travel Around Ukraine,” created using the “Neurowriting” technology, which integrates graphomotor skill-building tasks with educational content based on knowledge about Ukraine’s history and present. This approach combines educational, developmental, and corrective effects, enhances motivation, promotes interhemispheric interaction, and contributes to the formation of stable writing motor skills. The article outlines the scientific and methodological foundations for creating neurowriting materials, based on the principle of brain neuroplasticity, and highlights their potential application in speech therapy practice. Special attention is paid to the analysis of current scientific sources confirming the effectiveness of kinesiological and sensorimotor exercises in correcting graphomotor disorders in children. Although neurowriting technologies are gaining popularity, they have not yet achieved the status of empirically validated methodologies within the scientific community, highlighting the need for further theoretical and practical verification. The use of the neuro notebook “Let’s Travel Around Ukraine” is considered an innovative means of integrating the development of graphomotor skills with cognitive activity, patriotic feelings, and a holistic worldview in students. The study concludes that implementing the “Neurowriting” technology in the educational and speech therapy process offers promising prospects for improving the effectiveness of teaching writing to children with speech difficulties and represents an important direction for integrating modern neuroeducational practices into Ukraine’s primary education system.
