Abstract

The relevance of the study of the education of the initiative of children of the 5th year of life by means of plot and role-playing is due to the need to form an active, independent and socially oriented personality already at the stage of preschool childhood. In this age period, the foundations of the development of independence, the ability to choose, creative self-expression and responsible behavior are laid. Initiative is a key component of personal development, because it is associated with the ability to propose ideas, participate in joint activities, make decisions, coordinate one's own actions with interaction partners. The purpose of the work is to theoretically justify and test the methodological support (manual) for raising the initiative of children of the 5th year of life by means of story-role-playing game. The study analyzes psychological and pedagogical approaches to the definition of the concept of "initiativeness", reveals its importance for the development of preschoolers, and determines the potential of story-role-playing as a means of forming this quality. The level of education of initiative in children of the 5th year of life was diagnosed and the leading difficulties in its development were outlined. On the basis of theoretical and practical data, methodological support in the form of a manual was developed and tested. The practical significance of the work lies in the creation of a manual that contains algorithms for preparing the educator for the organization of a story-role game, a selection of game exercises to stimulate children's independence and creativity, situational tasks for the formation of initiative decisions, as well as methodological recommendations for teachers and parents to support initiative in the child's daily activities. The materials can be used in the ZDO to improve the effectiveness of play activities and develop the key personal qualities of children in the 5th year of life.
