Abstract
The master’s thesis is devoted to an актуal issue of modern preschool education, namely the formation of plastic and constructive art skills in children of the fifth year of life in the context of implementing the requirements of the State Standard of Preschool Education of Ukraine and orienting the educational process toward the development of the child’s creative potential. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to find effective methodological approaches to the development of artistic and productive activities of preschool children through architectural art, which combines aesthetic expressiveness with constructive practicality. The study substantiates the pedagogical potential of architectural art as a means of forming plastic and constructive art skills in children of the fifth year of life; clarifies the content of key research concepts, namely plastic art, constructive art, and artistic and productive activity; and characterizes the age-specific features of artistic and productive activity of children of the fifth year of life, as well as the pedagogical conditions for its effective organization. In the course of the research, criteria, indicators, and levels of formation of plastic and constructive art skills were identified, and appropriate methodological tools were tested. The aim of the master’s thesis is to select and test methodological tools for the formation of plastic and constructive art skills through familiarization with architectural art in children of the fifth year of life. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the developed methodological tools, didactic materials, and recommendations in the practice of preschool education institutions.
