Abstract
The study theoretically substantiates and experimentally verifies the feasibility of using the educational digital resource “Researcher’s Space 4.0” (“Prostir dlia Doslidnykiv 4.0”) for the formation of research skills in fourth-grade students in the process of studying the social and health-preserving educational field. The essence and structure of research skills of primary school students are revealed. A set of research tasks and an educational digital resource developed on the Google Sites platform are presented; the resource integrates thematic modules, a digital research diary, and tools for recording learning outcomes. In the course of the pedagogical experiment, a positive dynamic in the development of motivational, cognitive, operational-activity, and reflective components of research skills among students of the experimental group was confirmed. The obtained results demonstrate the effectiveness of the educational digital resource as a tool for the purposeful formation of research skills within the framework of the competency-based approach of the New Ukrainian School.
