Abstract
The relevance of the study is determined by the need to implement the competency-based approach of the New Ukrainian School, which requires the development of primary school students' ability to create coherent, creative statements. The results of national research indicate the presence of typical difficulties among younger students: low motivation for creative speech, impaired logic and narrative structure, and limited use of expressive language means. This actualizes the search for innovative and effective tools for application in primary school. The paper substantiates that the modern and effective means of developing speech and creative skills can be the tabletop game "Story Cubes" (Rory's Story Cubes), whose didactic potential is confirmed by domestic and international research. The purpose of the work is to theoretically substantiate the content of methodological support for the formation of skills to compose and narrate stories in primary education students by means of the "Story Cubes" tabletop game and to develop the corresponding pedagogical toolkit. The practical significance of the master's qualification project lies in the development of the author's methodological complex "Story Cubes: A Toolkit for Developing Creative Speech in Primary School Students. The author's development contains designed diagnostic tools, a series of integrated lesson-quests, a detailed card file of exercises, didactic prompt cards for students, and recommendations for the use of digital resources for the effective integration of the game into the educational process.
