Abstract
Zaboyak I. B. Graphic Designer’s Diary “Tse SHO” as a Tool for Creative Self-Realization. Kyiv, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, 2025, 85 p. The qualification project is dedicated to the importance of a creative diary as a tool for personal development and self-realization among creative individuals. It focuses on the development of a specialized multi-page creative diary for graphic designers within the context of self-reflection, education, and psychological relief. The study addresses the theoretical and practical aspects of diary creation, as well as its role in shaping self-awareness and individual creative direction. A comprehensive analysis of the key elements involved in developing creative publications was conducted. The history of the diary’s evolution is explored, tracing its transition from a medium for personal notes to a public tool for self-presentation, creative expression, and personal branding in the modern digital space. The contemporary market for creative publications is analyzed, including analogues, target audience, and the competitive environment. Identifying content, graphic, and typographic solutions in comparable works helped formulate relevant topics and establish a unique style for creating a niche publication oriented toward graphic designers. The practical part of the qualification project focuses on the development of a multi-page creative diary for graphic designers. Special attention is paid to structuring the diary's content and creating the original image of the graphic designer's diary “Tse SHO” through the use of unique graphic and typographic techniques. A connection is established between the diary as a tool for capturing ideas and as a means for the effective development of professional thinking and emotional balance maintenance for creative industry professionals. It was found that combining reflection, experimentation, and structured graphic exercises contributes to the formation of a unique design style, enhances visual analysis skills, and allows the user to systematically develop creativity in a comfortable, playful format.
