Abstract
The master's thesis examines the theoretical foundations and practical approaches to the formation and development of the leadership potential of principals of general secondary education institutions. The paper outlines the key concepts of educational leadership and analyzes the regulatory and legal framework for assessing and supporting the managerial potential of school leaders. An empirical study was conducted to assess the level of leadership potential of a school principal. Based on the results, a comprehensive model for the development of leadership potential was proposed, along with practical recommendations for implementing this model in the management practice of general secondary education institutions. Structure of the thesis: the paper contains an introduction, three chapters, conclusions, a list of references, and appendices. Total volume – 64 pages, 3 figures, 10 tables. Number of sources used – 60.
