Abstract

The topic of personalization in language learning is relevant in the context of digital education and the ap-plication of artificial intelligence to improve the effectiveness of educational processes in higher education institutions in Ukraine. The aim of the study is to analyze innovative creative methods of individualizing learn-ing using neural networks and digital storytelling tools. An approach to integrating neural networks (Kazka.fun, HeyGen, Gem-bot) for creating adaptive educational scenarios and personalized interactive exercises is proposed. Key algorithms for adapting modern educational content to the individual needs of higher edu-cation students are identified. Active use of neural networks for storytelling increases motivation and effec-tiveness of language learning. A research methodology has been developed that involves the combined use of experimental classes and analysis of student performance within the course ‘Ukrainian Language in the Modern Communicative Space.’ Methods of observation, content analysis, comparative analysis of results, and systematization of academic achievements were used. It was found that the use of the Kazka.fun, Hey-Gen, and Gem-bot platforms allows for a higher level of personalization of learning and student engagement. Data on the effectiveness of creative storytelling methods in the formation of communicative competences are presented. The positive impact of adaptive content on the motivational aspects of learning is characterized. It has been found that the integration of neural networks contributes to the formation of individual learning trajectories. Recommendations have been formulated for optimizing educational scenarios and integrating digital tools into language courses. The experience of using platforms to improve the effectiveness of individ-ualization has been summarized. The theoretical significance of the study lies in expanding knowledge about methods of personalizing learning using neural networks. The practical significance is determined by the pos-sibility of applying the developed techniques in modern language courses. The originality of the study lies in combining creative learning through stories and AI tools for individualising learning; a trend towards increased motivation and effectiveness among higher education students has been identified. Prospects for further re-search include testing integrated personalization models on wider audiences and studying long-term effects.
