Abstract

The study employs a qualitative metaphor analysis methodology that combines tools from cognitive linguistics with a contextual–pragmatic approach. The analysis involved a step-by-step identification of the dominant conceptual models through which the characters in Never Let Me Go conceptualize their own experiences.
