Abstract

This bachelor's thesis examines the phenomenon of communication within the Tolkienist subculture, focusing on the fans of J. R. R. Tolkien's works, with particular attention to their communication through online resources, forums, fan networks, and social media. Special emphasis is placed on the study of media communication features in the international context, particularly its role in forming cultural connections between people from different countries. The key aspect of the research is the application of animation as an effective tool for visualizing this communication process, along with the role of artificial intelligence in the creation of animated elements of the film. The author has created an original animated film, which embodies the main communication processes of Tolkienist subculture members, specifically their mode of interaction through digital platforms. By applying cutting-edge technologies in the creation of animation based on artificial intelligence, a high-quality visual product was produced, which conveys the atmosphere and worldview of this unique community. The thesis also includes an analysis of media products created for fan culture and their influence on shaping communication processes within a globalized world. The importance of animation as a medium for spreading cultural ideas through international media networks, particularly in the context of technological innovations, which enable interactivity and personalized user experiences, is highlighted. The research also explores international journalism in the context of global fan communities, revealing the role of animation in building narratives that foster international dialogue and understanding between cultures. The author examines how international audiences perceive such media products and the role they play in shaping a positive image of cultural subcultures. Thus, the study combines theoretical analysis of media communication and the practical application of modern technologies to create an innovative animated film that allows for a deeper understanding of the Tolkienist subculture through the lens of contemporary media and international journalism.
