Abstract
The bachelor’s thesis presents the development and implementation of an educational media project dedicated to the lives of immigrants in Germany, with a particular focus on Ukrainian displaced persons who were forced to leave their homes due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The project aims to foster a balanced understanding of immigrants’ adaptation experiences, challenge stereotypes, and increase empathy within society. The study substantiates the relevance of Instagram as a platform for the project, considering current trends in visual content consumption. It analyzes similar media initiatives, defines the target audience, and identifies appropriate stylistic approaches, formats, and journalistic genres. The practical part includes the creation of a bilingual Instagram page “vid Ua do De,” the development of visual identity, a content plan, and journalistic materials in the form of interviews. Special attention is given to personal stories of immigrants, their integration experiences, preservation of cultural identity, and social engagement. The research employs survey, questionnaire, interview, and content analysis methods, enabling a comprehensive examination of the topic and evaluation of the media project’s effectiveness as a communication tool.
