Abstract
The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the creation of the author's print publication Eclectique, which explores fashion as a social and political phenomenon. The theoretical part of the explanatory note analyzes the transformation of print media in the era of global digitalization, the growing role of slow media and niche publications that resist rapid information consumption. Examples of Ukrainian and international glossy magazines, their scope and content are also analyzed to better understand market trends and problems. The practical part includes the development and implementation of the first issue of the SR A4 format printed edition of Eclectic, a staple-bound magazine with a unique identity and author's sections: “Fashion as a language of politics”, “Fashion in world literature and cinema”, “From Ukraine to Global fame”, “The most popular Ukrainian brands abroad”, “Culture of secondary consumption − how second-hand is developing abroad and in Ukraine”, “Cheap and harmful − the phenomenon of the Temu marketplace”, “Stylistic advice from the author”. The publication combines different genres of journalism, as well as the newspaper structure with the magazine concept. The work demonstrates that print media remain relevant and have the potential to develop if they are channeled into more meaningful content with visual thoughtfulness.
