Abstract
The bachelor’s thesis examines the challenges faced by Ukrainian students in employment within the modern international labor market. The study analyzes key difficulties encountered by young people during job searching, including a lack of practical skills, issues with diploma recognition, limited opportunities for employment in their field of study, and the impact of economic instability. The relevance of creating a documentary video essay as a tool for highlighting these issues and shaping public understanding is substantiated. The research explores the specifics of the international labor market, particularly using the example of the United States, and provides a comparative analysis of employment opportunities in Ukraine and abroad. The practical component involves the development and implementation of a video essay on YouTube, including scriptwriting, selection of participants, filming, editing, and content promotion strategy. Special attention is given to the collection of empirical data through surveys, interviews with students, graduates, and experts, as well as the analysis of similar video content. The study employs literature analysis, surveys, interviews, content analysis, and technical analysis methods, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of the issue and the identification of ways to enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian youth in the international labor market.
