Анотація

The study examines linguosemiotic patterns in contemporary English-language chick-lit and considers their role in the organisation of the fictional text. Drawing on a corpus of novels by Sophie Kinsella, Marian Keyes, and Beth O’Leary, the analysis combines quantitative methods with qualitative interpretation. The results show that chick-lit narration brings together institutional discourse and subjective first-person narration, while also incorporating segmented textual forms such as lists and short confessional fragments. These recurrent features allow hybrid chick-lit texts to be described as linguosemiotic formations shaped by the coexistence of heterogeneous discourse elements.
