Abstract

The article examines the problem of optimizing methods for developing the grammatical competence of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature in the context of the digitalization of education. The relevance of the study is due to the rapid development of digital technologies, which are radically changing the educational environment, and the need to rethink traditional approaches to the professional training of language teachers. The state of development of the problem of forming the grammatical competence of students and the use of digital technologies in the educational process is analyzed. It has been determined that despite the existence of thorough works on linguodidactics and the digitalization of education, a comprehensive justification for optimizing methods of forming grammatical competence in the context of digitalization requires additional study. The article interprets the grammatical competence of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature as an integrated ability that encompasses systematic knowledge of the morphological and syntactic levels of language, mastery of grammatical concepts, skills in the adequate use of grammatical means in speech activity, and awareness of the role of grammar in professional development. The possibilities of optimizing traditional methods of teaching grammar through the integration of corpus technologies, automated text quality control systems, large language models, and online interactive platforms are considered. It is justified that corpus technologies optimize methods of language observation during linguistic experiments, allowing students to study the functioning of grammatical units in authentic texts. Automated control systems optimize self-control and editing methods, providing instant feedback and developing grammatical awareness. Large language models make it possible to personalize learning, generate teaching materials, simulate pedagogical situations, and develop critical thinking. Online interactive platforms provide individualized learning paths, gamification of the learning process, and opportunities for collaborative work. The need to adhere to the principle of pedagogical expediency when using digital technologies, the organic combination of traditional and innovative teaching methods, and the formation of critical thinking and digital literacy in students are emphasized. Particular attention is paid to the limitations of digital tools for the Ukrainian language and the need to verify generated content against authoritative normative sources. Prospects for further research in the development of integrated methodological systems for the use of digital technologies and the study of their impact on the quality of professional training of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature are identified.
