Abstract

The article highlights the features of psychological and pedagogical support for the personal and professional development of prospective teachers in the context of implementing new educational standards. The article's issues are examined through the lens of addressing the challenges of modern education in Ukraine and overcoming them by leveraging updated content and training technologies to support the personal and professional growth of future professionals in higher education institutions. The article's content is presented with consideration of the synergistic, axiological, and competency approaches. The applied criteria: competency, dynamic, and intrapersonal, made it possible to carry out an objective analysis and interpretation of the empirical study and substantiate the generalized conclusions. To clarify the current state of the scientific problem in scientific discourse and reflect it in current regulatory documents on education, and interpret the features of the personal and professional development of future teachers (teachers of secondary schools, educators of kindergartens), methods were used that are classified as theoretical, namely: theoretical, normative, and comparative analysis. The choice of empirical methods – structured interviews, surveys using the Moodle digital service made it possible to identify the effective impact of the updated psychological and pedagogical support on the dynamics of the personal and professional growth of future teachers; mathematical statistics methods confirmed the achieved results of the study of the multi-faceted phenomenon of the personal and professional development of future teachers. The purpose of the study: to characterize the features of psychological and pedagogical support for the personal and professional development of future primary school teachers and kindergarten educators, in the context of educational challenges and building effective educational practices. In line with the purpose, the article describes the content and technological features of psychological and pedagogical support for the personal and professional development of future teachers during the implementation of new educational standards. The article presents the interim results of a study on the scientific topic «Psychological and pedagogical support of the personal and professional development of future teachers in the context of the implementation of new educational standards», which is being carried out at the Faculty of Pedagogical Education of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.
