Abstract
The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations as well as practical aspects of the transformation of logistics management of urban public transport enterprises under modern socio-economic, infrastructural, and security challenges. It is substantiated that logistics management of urban public transport should be considered as a comprehensive system for managing transport, information, personnel, financial, and resource flows aimed at ensuring the efficient functioning of urban transport infrastructure, improving the quality of transport services, and promoting the sustainable development of urban mobility. The generalization of scientific approaches to the interpretation of the essence of logistics management made it possible to distinguish process-optimization and system-management approaches that shape the modern vision of organizing transport and logistics systems. The study systematizes the main components of logistics management of urban public transport enterprises, including the management of transport and information flows, resource support, human resources, quality of transport services, transport infrastructure, as well as strategic and innovative development of transport enterprises. It is determined that the efficiency of the transport and logistics system largely depends on the level of integration of its structural elements, coordination of activities among participants in the transport process, and implementation of modern digital management technologies. The current state of the transport and logistics system of Kyiv, as the largest logistics center of Ukraine, is analyzed. It is established that the city’s transport infrastructure includes road, railway, river, and air transport; however, the level of integration between these modes remains insufficient due to the absence of modern multimodal logistics hubs and a unified digital system for coordinating transport flows. It is proved that a significant share of freight transportation is carried out by road transport, which causes overloading of the road network, increases transportation costs, and worsens the environmental situation in the city. The paper proposes directions for improving logistics management of urban public transport enterprises, including modernization of transport infrastructure, development of multimodal logistics centers, implementation of intelligent transport systems and a unified digital platform for transport flow management, as well as stimulation of the greening of urban transport. It is determined that the prospects for further research are related to the development of digital logistics management technologies, integration of artificial intelligence into the urban transport system, and formation of sustainable transport and logistics systems under wartime risks and crisis conditions.
