Abstract
Denmark has established itself as a leader in e-government, reflecting a high level of digitalization in public services. From 2018 to 2022, it topped the UN E-Government Development Index, although it dropped to second place in 2024. The country’s digitalization efforts since 2001 foster collaboration between government entities, resulting in the 2022-2025 strategy «Digitalization that Develops Society». Key elements of Denmark’s e-government infrastructure include digital identification, centralized data platforms, and self-service online portals. While successful, challenges such as youth readiness for online interactions and data privacy concerns must be addressed to ensure equitable access to digital services for all citizens.
