Abstract

The article considers the problem of forming psychological competence of teachers in the postgraduate education system. The results of a study of the needs of pedagogical workers in psychological knowledge, practical skills and professional development are published. The research methodology was based on the use of an author's questionnaire with elements of self-assessment. A high level of need for teachers in psychological training has been established, in particular in the issues of preventing professional burnout, developing stress resistance and supporting mental health. It is proven that psychological knowledge is actively used by teachers in working with students, parents and colleagues. The results of the study confirm the need to develop practically-oriented training programs in the postgraduate education system
