Анотація
This article contains the analysis of interpretation of a classic A. Tchehov’s play “The Gull” by B.Akunin, the comparison of postmodern text with pretext. It clarifies the specific of pastiche-sequel, tracing the poetics of intertextuality, marking a genre of both plays, collocation of all accents in reasons of behavior and character's actions.
