Abstract

The relevance of training of future speech therapists to inclusive education for children with special educational needs based on student-centred approach is stated in the article; the essence of the concept of "student-centred learning", which is a new paradigm of educational process in high school is determined. The article is devoted to the development of methodology and technology of the educational program aimed at training specialists for professional work in terms of inclusive education in the aspect of the introduction of a new paradigm of learning of the European Higher Education Area - student-centred training. Much attention is given to the description of methodology of construction of educational programs first of all the definition of social need in training to inclusive education. It is cited figures of the inclusive form of education in Kiev that give reason to believe the presence of a stable social need for skilled specialists in correctional education (Special Education), able to work in innovative ways of teaching children with mental and physical disabilities. There is schematically represented technology of development, introduction and implementation of the training program, which aims to train professionals to inclusive education. It involves the following steps: 1) definition of social need, consultations with stakeholders, resources inside / outside of the institution; 2) profiling of the educational program; 3) a description of the program objectives and learning outcomes; 4) determination of general and professional competencies; 5) development of the curriculum; 6) development of modules and choice of teaching methods; 7) defining approaches to teaching and assessment methods; 8) developing a system of evaluating the quality of educational programs in order to improve it. There are given the examples of formation of competence of speech therapists in the field of inclusive education at the bachelor and master programs. It is outlined the need for the educational and professional projects (education and research) programs and their curriculum based on training for educational Bachelor and Master degrees, to reflect the current requests for training in inclusive education based on student-centred approach.
