Abstract
The thesis defined the main concept of a research - "artistic tolerance of future music teacher" - based on anthropological, axiological, phenomenological, hermeneutic and competence approaches. This term means the personality's sensible attitude to artistic phenomena; the interest in creative work and recognition of the importance of artistic self-expression of an artist, performer and other recipients; the orientation in artistic categories and the specific character of arts; the ability to interpret the image of the work, taking into account peculiarities of genre, style, age, cultural and social values. The structure of future music teacher’s artistic tolerance, which consists of three components such as motivational, cognitive and creative, was clarified. The essence of future music teachers’ artistic tolerance during their piano training raising due to students’ experience in interpretative activities was found out. Three main criteria determining the level of maturity of future music teacher’s artistic tolerance named empathic and dialogical, artistic and analytical, educational and performing are justified in this study. The first criterion reflects the level of general tolerance of future music teachers, their capacity for empathy, emotional openness, and ability to conduct tolerant artistic dialogue. The second criterion outlines the level of student’s interest in the arts and the ability of future music teachers to analyze and realize the content of art works. The third criterion shows students’ interest in their profession, their experience and knowledge necessary for qualitative interpreting of the art works. All of termed criteria could be achieved on the four levels of artistic tolerance maturity: high, medium, below average, and low. The methodological part of research expanded the principles, pedagogical conditions, didactic forms, techniques and methods of future music teacher’s artistic tolerance formation. For example, it includes individual and collaborative activities, for instance, studying modern music art at piano classes, pedagogical creative studios, practice at school, gaming technologies, diary methods, self-guided work etc. Received data revealed the viability of suggested methodological recommendations.
