Abstract
The problem of the use of active methods of teaching periodically arises in the theory and practice of education, firstly, in connection with the intensification of the learning process, and secondly, in connection with the problem of activating cognitive activity of students. The reform of higher education, the transition to a multilevel system of vocational training require the identification and use of the potential of active teaching methods for solving the problems of improving the professional training of students, the identification of psychological and pedagogical conditions, in which the use of active teaching methods contributes, on the one hand, the effectiveness of vocational training, increase it quality, on the other - the development of the subject position of a future specialist.
