Specific features of the impact of research on the quality of development of innova-tive products in the field of green business in blue economy are generalizes in the ar-ticle. Using world statistical information, Ukraine’s place in global and digital ratings of innovative competitiveness of countries is represented. It is established that busi-ness is considered green if it meets criteria of which: the principle of “circulation” in making all business decisions; Greener than typical competitors; compliance with envi-ronmental standards. Research shows that “blue economy” shows how many prob-lems associated with environmental degradation and pollution can be avoided through the conservation of material resources and adjustment of production processes in ac-cordance with laws of nature. It is argued that the core of VI and VII technological arrangements laid foundations for green business in blue economy. Characteristics of risk management at different stages of green business in blue economy are revealed. Possible variants of life stages “green business – innovation market – new products” are presented.
