The ability to cooperate with others is defined as an important skill of a person of the XXI century and a graduate of the New Ukrainian School. Cooperation in the educational process affects the activation of cognitive activity, positive motivation to learn, successful mastery of competencies by students, improving the psychological climate. We consider the ability of younger students to cooperate with others as the ability to interact together to achieve a goal, the result of joint activities, exchanging information, showing activity, initiative, creativity, mutual responsibility, mutual support and mutual trust. Such interaction requires from younger students the ability to actively listen, express their own opinion, explain it with arguments, prove, listen, respect the opinion of others, evaluate it, discuss different views, solutions, choose the best option, negotiate with classmates, help, support, inspire them, perform different roles, responsibilities, tasks, perform them responsibly, behave tolerantly, manage their own emotions, set a common goal, achieve results, present work. Important for the formation of students' ability to cooperate are: creating motivation; acquaintance and mastering of rules of successful joint work; mastering the skills of cooperation in practice; development of the emotional sphere, emotional intelligence of junior schoolchildren. The best option for the formation of such skills are training sessions to study the integrated course «I explore the world», which covers the system of knowledge about man, nature, society, state, value orientations in various spheres of life, research methods. Such forms of organization of the educational process as observation, experiments, excursions, projects, role-playing, story-role, folk, theatrical games, situations, morning meetings, which are leading in the study of the integrated course
