This chapter aims at identifying common and different regional tendencies of pre-service primary school teacher training in the Benelux countries. The attempt was made to systematize and outline the Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourgish legislative framework, current practice of teacher training in 5 higher educational institutions based in Flanders, Wallonia, and German-speaking community of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, which became the basis of identifying and grouping tendencies. Empirical methods, such as a comparative comparison; translation of authentic literature; description of pre-service primary school teacher training, analytical interpretation of the data; quantitative processing of research results by means of tables and figures to verify the obtained data, were used in the chapter.
