Abstract
The problem of self-development of the personality and the organization of educational activities of applicants of institutions of professional pre-higher education is considered. The essence of the concept of "self-development" is revealed; the peculiarities of the educational pedagogical process, which is aimed at the formation and development of the student's self-educational activity, were investigated. The conditions for the successful organization of self-development, self-education of future specialists in the social sphere have been determined.Scientific sources on the essence of the self-development of a student of a professional preliminary higher education institution as a component of self-improvement have been studied. An analysis of the scientific-theoretical basis of the problem of self-development of the personality, the basis of which is its self-actualization in the extracurricular process and in the process of acquiring professional skills, was carried out.The self-development of the future specialist in the social sphere is defined as a conscious goal-directed activity directed at the development of one's own individuality, awareness of the professional orientation of the individual, which is manifested in the understanding of the significance of professional activity, the presence of a persistent interest in pedagogical activity.In the context of self-development of students of professional preliminary higher education, the problems related to the education system in the extracurricular process are highlighted. The educational components in the process of extracurricular activities in the conditions of the institution of vocational pre-higher education are determined, the main characteristics of the self-development of the students are given.The factors of the educational extracurricular process that develop the individuality of the future social worker, create conditions for his self-development and self-expression have been identified. The basic technological complex of personally oriented education is defined; concrete examples show the use of the main components of extracurricular activities aimed at self-development, self-determination, self-actualization. It was concluded that the purpose of educational technologies is to support and develop the natural qualities of young people and their individual abilities, to help in the formation of the professional self-realization of the acquirer's personality in the conditions of the educational space of a professional institution of higher education.
