Abstract
The article examines the organizational conditions for working with students of the 3rd (4th) grades of educational material of the content line of the program "Exploring language phenomena" in the linguistic and literary field of education. The main concepts of the researched problem are specified. Modern approaches to the formation of language concepts in primary school language didactics are analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the importance of preparation of a modern teacher to work on the formation of language concepts in phonetics, lexicology and grammar (morphology and syntax) in elementary school students of the Ukrainian language. The conditions that contribute to the successful assimilation of knowledge from the main sections of the elementary course of the Ukrainian language and the formation of appropriate language skills and skills of elementary school students on their basis have been studied. Attention is focused on the expediency of using a step-by-step organizational and methodical system of work with study of the content line "Investigating linguistic phenomena". The method of working out the specified line of the program is described, which covers the important directions of the teacher's work on the formation of language skills in younger schoolchildren. The stages of the method of formation of language skills in elementary school students are characterized (propaedeutic, basic, final). A system of expedient methods and methods of work, forms and means of forming students' language skills is recommended. A classification of the required language exercises and tasks is given to be used in the process of formation of language competence of primary school students. Methodological recommendations for teachers regarding the development of the content line "Investigating linguistic phenomena" in the practice of primary teaching of the Ukrainian language are indicated. An evaluation system aimed at identifying the levels of formation of language skills has been developed. Monitoring of the effectiveness of the developed organizational conditions for working with younger schoolchildren of the content line of the "Exploring language phenomena" program in Ukrainian language lessons in primary school was carried out.
