Abstract
This article discusses a methodological system for teaching grammar and spelling in primary schools through the use of digital technologies. It reveals the essence and content of the basic concepts of the research, explores the theoretical foundations of educational digitization, and outlines the principles of integrating digital technologies into the process of elementary language education. The nature of digital technologies and their principles (openness, digital interactivity, ease of interface use) are defined. The structure of levels (hardware, software, user level) is presented along with the main tools (hardware, software). Various approaches to the application of digital technologies in Ukrainian language lessons at the primary school level are examined. The main directions of the teacher's work in lessons on studying grammar and spelling using digital tools are specified. Tasks that teachers should be aware of to effectively apply various digital technologies in the educational process of primary school, particularly in studying the core sections of Ukrainian language grammar and spelling, are clarified. An algorithm for the use of digital tools is proposed to effectively organize Ukrainian language lessons in primary school and develop the grammatical and spelling skills of younger students. It is proven that the use of digital technologies in the educational process of primary school has significant potential for improving the academic achievements of younger students in Ukrainian language grammar and spelling. Emphasis is placed on the appropriateness of using digital technologies and it is noted that their use should balance between digital and traditional teaching, adhere to principles of safety and privacy. Methodological recommendations for educators on the application of digital tools in lessons on studying grammar and spelling are provided. Modern teaching methods and techniques, forms of work, and digital learning tools that should be preferred in grammar and spelling lessons are recommended. A set of grammar and spelling exercises and tasks, during the execution of which it is advisable to use digital technologies, is developed.
