Abstract

The article considers the important role of ICT in forming the cognitive orientation of university students to study a foreign language (FL). It has been determined what is happening with the development of technologies and their availability transformation of education, which requires new approaches and involvement of students in active cognitive activity. It has been proven that using foreign language media texts and various ICT resources helps form various types of foreign language speech activity, and contributes to improving language skills, creative thinking, and joint work on projects. in return Demonstration capabilities of ICT expand areas of interest and motivate students to study FL.
