Abstract

The digitization of all areas of human activity and the extremely difficult conditions in which educational institutions of Ukraine have found themselves over the past five years have contributed to the development of various forms of learning: distance (d-learning), electronic (e-learning), modular (m-learning). It was e-learning that caused the emergence of blended learning, which, in the event of another forced closure of higher education institutions, will allow continuing educational activities and minimizing the negative impact on the student. Such continuity is possible thanks to a safe digital environment and cloud technologies, the use of which in education is quite promising, because it does not require high-powered devices and additional material costs. In the proposed research, the authors focus attention on specific cloud technologies and services, which can and should be used during the training of the Ukrainian professional language of students of the humanitarian direction of education. Cloud services of the SaaS model are considered to be the most widely used and most optimal during education, because they are provided by two reliable, safe and long-lasting leaders in providing free cloud services for education: Google (a package of cloud services G Suite for Education: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google notebook (Keep), Google Drive, Google Docs, presentations, spreadsheets, Google Sites, blogs, Meet, Hangouts, YouTube, Classroom) and Microsoft (Office 365 Education cloud service package: Outlook, calendar, OneNote, OneDrive, Office, SharePoint, Lync, Stream, Teams). Also, the authors conclude that the use of these technologies is justified and corresponds to the conditions of today, which is thoroughly permeated with digitalization. This is a real way to increase the efficiency and quality of the training of applicants, in particular the humanitarian direction of education, to activate the educational and cognitive and scientific research activities of students, to reveal their creative potential, creative opportunities in the conditions of mixed and distance learning. Cloud technologies and services turn an ordinary Ukrainian language course into an interesting process for both learners and the teacher. A skillful combination of cloud and traditional technologies is the key to effective training and formation of general and professional competencies of a modern professional.
