Abstract
The reform of education in Ukraine and the focus of the educational process on developing the ability to effectively carry out lifelong learning (2006 recommendations of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU) have set a number of important tasks for the Ukrainian education system and have led to certain changes in the organization and content of teacher's work, the search for new teaching technologies, which actualizes the problem of raising the level of professional training of teaching staff. One of the main tasks in solving this problem is to equip teachers with methods of conducting educational activities. Most EU psychologists consider educational activity as a set of motivational, cognitive, practical and behavioral activities (Chapoutier G., Kreutzer M., Menini C., Chavaillon J., Clarke R., Coppens Y., Kohler W., Lorenz K., Piaget J., Reeves H., etc.) A modern primary school teacher must perfectly master the methods of organizing the educational process in the classroom, ways to apply search and reproductive methods; forms of motivation of primary education students' activity, organization of analytical and synthetic activities; selection of effective methods and techniques, taking into account the nature of the educational material and the degree of its assimilation; control system. In the practice of preparing teachers for primary school classes, there is a typical shortcoming: from theory they go straight to the practice of making notes, ignoring the stage of mastering the technology of applying of the acquired knowledge about the lessons. As a result, a young teacher is unable to consistently, in a certain system, take into account the set of requirements that he or she learned about in the theoretical course of the methodology. Numerous exercises in making class notes do not help to overcome this shortcoming either. Thus, mastering the methodology of teaching a lesson turns into a long process. Thus, clear guidelines for applying the knowledge of professional methods in the school system are urgently needed. The practice of teaching students of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University shows that such guidelines can be the structures of different types of classes, which primarily take into account: the nature of the educational material and the stage of mastering cognitive activity.
