Abstract

The digitalization of education today is accompanied by the active introduction of virtual and augmented reality technologies, as well as artificial intelligence, into practical activities. Foreign language education is no exception and includes research devoted to the analysis of the impact of these technologies on various aspects of the formation of a person's foreign language competence. Therefore, the use of chatbots is an innovative means of overcoming the language barrier, since one of the leading goals of using chatbots in teaching foreign languages ​​is the imitation of real communication in a foreign language, which is important not only from the point of view of building an individual learning trajectory, implementing the principles of differentiation or self-study, but also from a psychological point of view.
