Abstract
An important factor in the formation of a child's personality is the parental position - the psychological and educational orientation of the mother and father. This position is based on the conscious and unconscious assessment of the child and is expressed in certain means of interaction with him. The parental position, causing an optimal impact on the development of the child's personal potential, includes the following properties: adequacy; dynamism; strength; orientation of educational efforts to the future, in accordance with the requirements that the child's future life offers; a combination of emotional acceptance and support for the child with demandingness and necessary control. The main task of the teacher is to provide assistance in creating conditions within the family that ensure the most complete spiritual development of the child, which forms the basis of his mental health, provided that the parents actively participate in the psychocorrection process. Psychocorrection is a special form of psychological and pedagogical activity aimed at creating the most favorable conditions for optimizing the mental development of a child's personality, providing him with special psychological assistance. At the current stage of development, psychocorrection is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge that combines psychology, pedagogy, cultural studies, and medicine. Psychocorrectional work is carried out using art therapy methods. We consider art therapy as a tool of progressive psychological assistance, which contributes to the formation of a healthy and creative personality and the implementation in practice of the main functions of personality socialization, such as adaptive, corrective, mobilization, regulatory, rehabilitation and preventive. Acting as a method of psychological work, art therapy allows you to simultaneously create a certain creative situation, address a person's internal images bypassing "ego censorship" and bring these images to a conscious level. It is also used to explore unconscious processes, actualize latent ideas and states, social roles and forms of behavior that are hidden or weakly manifested in everyday life. In practical work with children, the following art therapy areas are used: isotherapy, fairy tale therapy, music therapy. Professional use of such methods contributes to the expansion of the use of effective means in the work of the teacher, creates a positive therapeutic effect for participants in psychocorrectional work, and allows harmonizing the inner world of children and adults.
