Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of linguo-stylistic features of the translation of Renata Adler's novel Speedboat from the standpoint of translation studies. It is found that the transmission of these features requires not only an accurate reproduction of the content, but also the preservation of the author's individual style. The study analyses the translation techniques aimed at conveying the linguo-stylistic expressiveness of the text in the Ukrainian translation. The main techniques, such as modulation, transposition, compensation, adaptation and amplification, which contribute to the adaptation of complex linguistic constructions of the source text, are highlighted. The results of the study show that the translation of experimental prose requires a balance between preserving stylistic accuracy and adapting to the norms of the target language. The conclusions may be useful for further research in the field of literary translation, in particular, in the reproduction of postmodern texts.
