Abstract

The paper deals with the study of translation techniques and difficulties in the translation of aviation terminology from English into Ukrainian of a manual, Main differences between B737 – 400&200 mechanical and electrical system. The study considers the linguistic features of aviation terminology, analyses the genre and stylistic characteristics of training manuals, and examines the role of infographics and their difficulties in translation. The results of the study show that successful translation of aviation terminology requires a balance between technical accuracy and linguistic adaptability. The work will be useful for translators working with specialised aviation documentation to improve the quality of translation and efficiency of technical communication in this field
