Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of rendering film industry jargonisms, textile industry jargonisms, and terminology in the film critique book Textiles on Film. The distinction between the aforementioned terminology and common language terminology has been revealed, focusing on the specificity of the film, textile industry jargonisms, terminology and its divergence from everyday language usage. The translation text contains the proper percentage of the film, textile industry jargonisms, and terminology in the indicated industry, selected as established equivalents.
