Abstract
The relevance of the study is determined by modern requirements of the New Ukrainian School (NUS), where the key learning outcome is the development of communicative competence. The ability to engage in dialogue contributes not only to the development of speech but also to the formation of critical thinking and social interaction, as well as the ability to argue and defend one’s point of view. Working with a literary text opens opportunities for the development of emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and moral values of pupils. One of the main tools for developing speech abilities, social skills, and critical thinking is dialogic interaction. Primary school plays a special role in a child’s life, as it is precisely at this stage that active speech development and the formation of the child as a personality take place. The development of dialogic speech skills helps children better comprehend and understand educational material. Primary school pupils who can accurately formulate questions, participate in joint discussions of a topic, and clearly express their thoughts are more actively involved in the learning process and master the educational material at a higher level. The purpose of this study is the theoretical substantiation of organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of dialogic interaction among pupils in grades 1–2 during the analysis of literary texts. The practical significance of the master’s qualification project lies in the development of practical cases aimed at enriching the speech culture of pupils in grades 1–2 while working with a literary text through a system of exercises presented in the form of a methodological guide. The pedagogical cases include a developed system of exercises comprising oral, written, and creative tasks. Individual, pair, and group work is envisaged
